Your treatment begins with a comprehensive consultation and cone beam CT imaging to evaluate the tooth, surrounding bone, and nearby anatomical structures. Local anesthesia is administered to ensure you are completely comfortable throughout the procedure. For more complex cases — such as impacted or broken teeth — sedation options are available.
The extraction itself is performed using specialized instruments designed to gently loosen and remove the tooth while preserving as much surrounding bone as possible. Following removal, the socket is thoroughly cleaned and prepared. Depending on your treatment plan, bone grafting material may be placed at the same visit to maintain bone volume for a future implant. Most patients experience mild soreness for a few days, which is well managed with prescribed or over-the-counter pain relief.
